Introducing Ted Rodgen
Who is Ted Rodgen? Who IS Ted Rodgen? WHO is Ted Rodgen? Who is TED RODGEN? These are just four of the six questions on your lips. Along with what am I wearing and when am I free over the weekend. But to some of you, Ted Rodgen is not a question. Ted Rodgen just is.
Inspired by his short lived inhabitance amongst the slums of Mumbai, Ted Rodgen began designing footwear for the everyday man back in 1949. His early works were likened to a torpedo of realism to the entire foot fashion industry. Continuously shocking with each season launch, Ted Rodgen made a name for himself not just throughout his own island of Caspiar, but across the world too. Probably even universe. It wasn't long before his original 'T-Rods' caught the eye of internationally reknowned artist Georges Rouault in 1956, and it became clear that what many suspected - but dared not to speak. Ted Rodgen wasn't just a designer. Ted Rodgen was an artist.

Ted Rodgen has been at the forefront of each era of fashion but his most popular and profitable style would have to be the '9-5' range (image below). Famously (and once mocked) for employing the less fortunate to 'wear-in' his shoes before hitting the racks of various thrift stores throughout the world, Rodgen knew that the key to the future of footwear was purchasing a shoe that immediately fit you. Someone had already suffered the blisters, cuts and bunions so the new owner was free to walk, run and skip till their heart's content.
